“Truly amazing house in a wonderful location. The property was just outstanding. The house itself is just beautiful, so wonderfully modernized by Cathra and her family with such attention to detail and quality. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, each with lovely features and character. The cellar cave with TV and games was a blessing in the 40+ heat wave, and the kids loved spending some private time down there. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The backyard and pool are so private and you truly do feel like you are in the middle of the countryside! The pictures make the pool look smaller than it actually is, we found it to be a great size and you get all the sun into the garden that you want, with shade also easy to find. The location is right in the middle of the cite, a 2min walk to cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Parking is nearby (3min walk) and is included in the property. Cathra and family were great hosts and made us so welcome. They also shared some great ideas for things to do and places to go. If you want to spend some time in this beautiful area, you will never regret booking here. We hope to come back with the rest of the family in the near future!!”

“I have stayed here twice now and both times were excellent. From the minute you walk in, you can tell every part of the house was designed and furnished with both comfort and aesthetic in mind. From the pool to the cinema cave to the state of the art kitchen, every amenity one might need is catered to. The location is as central as it gets; the train station, main square and shopping streets are just a walk away (though the street itself is quiet). The owners are very kind and have no shortage of suggestions for things to do both in town and around the region (wine tours, bike rentals, cafes/restaurants etc.). I am looking forward to my next stay already :)”

“We stayed here during August and September 22 and had a wonderful time. The house and garden are fantastic and decorated and furnished beautifully. Carcassonne’s cafes, bars and shops are a short walk from the house and the canal, train station, bus stops, and La Cite are easy to get to on foot. The owners are really friendly and accommodating and have excellent knowledge of the area and things to do.”
